Happy Halloween!

Two years ago, Ben and I went to the Haunted Corn Maize and it was so much fun! Last year we really wanted to go again but for some reason it didn't happen. This year I got to go to again with some friends from work. I hope every one had a Happy (and spooky) Halloween!

Here is some more pictures taken on Halloween. We went to Ben's sister's house to pass out candy. She made a spook alley in the front of her house for the kids to walk through before they got candy. She went all out on with the decorations!

I stole these two pictures from Dorey.

If you look closely, the skeleton is named Ben.
Our nephews, Dorin and Aiden. Cute huh?Dorey took us to see some neat houses in the neighborhood. The leg was mechanical and moved up and down.
This is a 50 foot Grim Reaper. It's a little blurry but look for the red face on top.

Went to Lake Powell recently! Ben's stepmom was getting baptized so we decided to make a mini vacation out of it. We went 4 wheeling, jet skiing, flew in a four seater plane, camped out on the lake, and hung out with family. It was a blast!

Summer Travels

This past little while has been so fun! First, Ben and I went to Minnersville, UT for a family reunion on my mom's side. My grandparents were there so that was nice to spend some time with them. We went to a parade, rodeo, and visited with family members I have not seen in a while. Here is a picture of us at a restaurant in Beaver, UT. I love it because it is decorated pink inside and they serve the best pie ever!
Right after the reunion, I flew to Austin, TX for a work conference. The resort I stayed at was beautiful and I wished the whole time I was there for vacation and not work. It was a busy couple of days but on the last day there was a music themed dinner. Cheryl, another lady from my work who came to the conference, and I dressed up as ABBA. It was pretty fun to see everyone else dressed up in their costumes. Do you like our silver boots?

While I was in TX, I got to see my aunt, uncle and my cousin Mark. I hadn't seen Mark for a really long time so I was looking forward to being with him. I can't believe he is taller than me now!

Camping and New Car

This last weekend, we went camping with our friends Heather and Mike. We camped at the American Fork canyon. We ate smores with fresh rasberries, made tin foil dinners, played Pirates dice, and went fishing. We didn't catch any fish this time but we bought fishing licenses this year so we will go again soon. It was our first camping trip together and it was a ton of fun. We can't wait to go again soon.

In other news, we bought a new "used" car. Ben and I have been looking for a new car for a long time so its a relief to finally have one. We love it and it is fun to drive. It's a keeper!
